can anyone explain how to tune down a half step? -seanwr | 2/17/2009 | first...a step is like saying dropping everything down one note i.e. E-->D so a half step would be E-->Eb but you have to remember there is no such thing as an E# or B# those go immediatley from F-->E and C-->B
there are a couple ways to tune down a 1/2 step: 1. if you put a capo on the first fret retune so you get standard tuning (EADGBe) then take your capo off and you're down a 1/2 2. if you uses a digital/chromatic tuner of some sort just tune to Eb-Ab-Db-Gb-Bb-eb
hope that helps -suburbancowboy9 | 2/17/2009 |
