I played along with both versions (live
and studio), and it's in F#. You can
play it open....capo 2nd fret.....
or capo 4th fret

I love this song.
I haven't played it on my guitar yet but...
I like the song.
Even though i'm not from Tennessee

Capo 5th fret sounds right to me
-timwilson | 3/2/2004
i think the capo needs to be on the 4th fret
but that's just me
-TGcountry | 5/11/2004
The capo is on the fifth fret
"unless you tune down like kenny plays"
and the D/F# is incorrect its G/B or

Go to axehappy's intro. It has a 10 rating.
His intro goes perfectly with this tab.

I know im stupid but how do you play a (d/f#) in the first place? I just started
so don't rip on me to much.
-chay | 7/28/2004
just play a D chord with an F# bass note

-klib25 | 8/15/2004
for all of you who don't know the crazy chords, like d/f#, here's a great website for that: www.chordfind.com

-fballplyr29 | 9/13/2004
instead of the d/f# try Em. So D, A, Em, G.
-AQHAchamp | 11/11/2008
My personal preference is to just play D instead of D/F#. Sounds OK the way I play it but the chords are right and the capo on the 4th fret sounds right.
