The way I have seen him play it was with Capo on the 2nd fret. What he does is he capos all of the strings except the top "e" string. Chords are D and G on the verse and D,A,G,D for the chorus. If you are wondering about how to do the capo, just put it on the gitar upside down and leave the top string uncovered. It kinda gives you a "Drop-D" sound. By the way, he does the same on "I Got The Guns"
