Songwriters Jim Lassiter & Ron Gendron are looking for an established songwriting agent to represent us and our songs. Ron is a lyricist & Jim also writes as well as performs & records all the songs in his home studio.
Please note, I do NOT use a computer to create music or edit, mix or master my songs. Other than using a drum machine for a basic click track or drum pattern (and only because i don't own a kit), I play all the instrumentation from start to finish on each track, one track at a time.
On the song 'Where Rainbows Will Fall', i used my synth keyboard for the drums. I played a bass drum (sound on the synth) on one track of my 32 track Korg D3200 recording deck all the way through the song (by hand, no automation allowed!) and then went back and played the snare on another track, then each tom, cymbal & hi-hat sounds, all one at a time, by hand... to build up a 'drummer' for the song...;>)
About Jims Musical Stageplay Comedy: 'The Tavern & The Storyteller' In 2007, a musical comedy stageplay i wrote in 2005 was performed by my kids high school drama troupe (the PA Players, Pembroke NH). I have slowly been working on two sequels (it's a trilogy) but i suffer from severe back problems which do not help the process!
