By: Alan Jackson
CD: under the influence
Sounds best on Third fret
E A
Whenever a chance to meet some old friends on the street
D A E
They wonder how does a man get to be this way
E A
I always got a smileing face any time and any place
D A
And everytime they ask me why
E
I just smile and say
A D
You've got to kiss an angel good mornin
A G D
And let her know you think about her when your gone
A
So kiss an angel good mornin
G A D
And love her like the devil when you get back home
E A
Now people may guess the secret of happeniness
D A
Some of them never learn
E
It's a simple thing
E
The secret I'm speaking of
D A
Is a woman and a man in love
D A E
And the anwser is in this song that I always sing
A D
You've got to kiss an angel good mornin
A G D
And let her know you think about her when your gone
A
So kiss an angel good mornin
G A D
And love her like the devil when you get back home
D A
Kiss an angel good mornin
G A D
And let her know you think about her when your gone
D A
So kiss an angel good mornin
G A D
And love her like the devil when you get back home.

Thanks Jonathan for the song I asked for . Greetings from South Africa -4431442 | 5/11/2004 | I tried these chords while playing along with the album, and they only sound right if you capo on the third fret. Of course, I could be tuned high. Still, the G and D chords sound like harmony chords and not melody chords. If you're strumming and singing along, they don't sound right to me. It sounds like it should be B7. Try it and tell me what you think. Thanks. I'd like to get it down whichever way is right. -rakinqa | 5/15/2004 | I will try to check this and see which tab is the correct one...technically they are both right because open E (like here) and Capo 2 playing G is the same key...
