Capo 2

Your mama said I ainít no good, your daddy said it too
Well Iíve said all I got to say and I ainít got through to you
               A E
Got through to you, whatís a boy to do
       B7 E
cominí all the way to Waycross just to stand in line for you

Well Iím stuck out along side of the road with my thumb up in the air
Well ainít got a place to be and I sure ainít got a prayer
Ainít got a prayer, whatís a boy to do
Put a thousand miles behind me just to kill these Georgia blues

Chorus 1:
Here I come
Iím a-rolling through
Coming all the way to Waycross
Just to steal a kiss from you

Well I hope youíre waiting for me when Iím coming up the drive
Hope weíre gonna do them things make me glad that Iím alive
Put on your dress, your dancing shoes
Coming all the way to Waycross just to cut a rug with you

Well itís four oíclock in the morning or three in the afternoon
On a two-way road to Sunday or a one-way to the blues
Tell me why, Babe, tell me when
Put a candle in the window and Iíll be back again

Iíd kill a thousand months of Sundays
With these Waycross Georgia blues

Definitely one of my favorite tunes of his. Great song! Thinking off the top of my head, I recall the intro to that song is pretty cool. Do you know what he's doing there?
