(A) Up in the city it's crazy and (D) concrete cold
(A) Living life at the speed of light leaves (D) dark in your soul
When (G) every minute's got a (Asus) heart attack (A) in it
(D) It's time to leave it a(G)lone
So (Bm) I don't think we're gonna (G) beat this postcard (A) home

We're (G) down to the worm in the (A) bottle
The (D) chips and the salsa are (Bm) gone
(D) Now we know why (G) J.T. sang (Bm) "Oh (A) Mexi(G)co"
We're two days south of the (A) border
(D) Feeling too good to care (G) why
These (Bm) Mexican minutes feel longer and longer
As the (A) days go (D) by

(D) (G) (A) (D)

(A) We're dropping our worries
Picking up (D) Espanol
(A) Down here the sunsets are red
The te(D)quila is gold
(G) Life is sublime here on (Asus) Mexican (A) time
They've (D) got something we need to (G) learn
If (Bm) we don't show for a (G) while
Don't (A) be concerned

We're (G) down to the worm in the (A) bottle
The (D) chips and the salsa are (Bm) gone
(D) Now we know why (G) J.T. sang (Bm) "Oh (A) Mexi(G)co"
We're two days south of the (A) border

These (Bm) Mexican minutes feel longer and longer

I totally agree with you. I went back
and forth with the whole G to Bm / Bm to
G. Wasn't sure which sounded better.
Thanks for the comment, though. I went
with your way. It sounds great now!
