Neon Moon by Brooks and Dunn
E A B
E
When the sun goes down on my side of town that lonesome feeling comes to my door
B E
And it turns my world....... blue.
E
There's a run down bar across the railroad tracks I got a table for two way in the back
B E
Where I sit alone...... and think of losin' you.
A E
I spend most every night beneath the lights of a neon moon.
CHORUS
B A B A
If you lose your one and only There's always room here for the lonely
B A E
To watch your broken dreams dance in and out of the beams Of a neon moon.
2nd verse
E
I think of two young lovers runnin' wild and free I close my eyes and sometimes see
B E
You in the shadows... of this smoke filled room.
E
No tellin' how many tears I sit here and cry No tellin' how many lies that I've lied
B E
Tellin' my pour heart... she'll come back someday
A E
Oh! But I'll be allright as long as there's light From a neon moon.
repeat CHORUS
E
Jukebox plays on drink by drink The words of every sad song seem to say what I think
B E
That this hurt inside of me...ain't never gonna end.
A E
Oh!But I'll be allright underneath the lights Of a neon moon.
repeat CHORUS
B A
Just watch your broken dreams Dance in and out of the beams
E
Of a neon moon.
-----repeat twice-----
E A B E

Hi, I've been playing this song for 20 years & I believe ther chords used to play this song are A, D, & E. This song starts in A to D to A. chorus is D to E to D to E to D to E to A Respectfully -Realwarrior | 11/22/2012 | hi there Realwarrior you are very much right b&d play this song in A I used to play it like they do, then playing it once someone told me it would sound better in my voice singing in E so i messed around with the chords & came up with this, i think it sounds good both ways!! -HLNBSer | 11/27/2012 |
