what do u mean capo 3rd fret, i bought one, but i dont know how to use it. ii have been only playing since 23 jun of this year. please explain. email me at donald.wagers@us.army.mil i am getting deployed and trying to play the guitar. i am just learning how to play dueling banjos, still confusing, but getting there. please help thank you

First let me say thank you for letting us sleep at night knowing people like you are watching over us, you all are our hero's..

When using the capo and like above it says "capo 3rd" means to place your capo on the 3rd fret and play the chords accordingly to what is shown over the words. A capo is just a movable nut on your neck allowing you to adjust where you're 1st fret will be:)
