Capo 2

     D G D
I’ve taken down all of her pictures
     D A D
I’ve cleaned out all of her drawers
  D G D
I painted over the scratches
     D A D
From all of our little wars
  D F#m Bm D7
I put away every gift
     G D
That she ever gave to me
    D F#m Bm A G
Now everything is in it’s place
  D A D
Except for her memory

Chorus:
    D F#m Bm D7
And where do I put her memory
          G D
When it’s haunts me night and day
        D F#m Bm
I can’t hide it in the closet
    E7 A
And lord I can’t throw it away
    D F#m Bm D7
And where do I put her memory
          G D
When it’s always in my mind
        D F#m
I can’t chase it, erase it
  Bm A G
I just have to face it
           D A D
It’s gonna be there a long, long time

Up ½ step to D# (or move capo to 3)

And where do I put her memory
When it’s always in my mind
I can’t chase it, erase it
I just have to face it
It’s gonna be there a long, long time

Lyrics are missing, some of the chords are wrong and there's defenitly no capo here. The song is in E. I'll send the right tab later...

You are correct - you CAN play this without a capo but for beginner
players, a B is harder than an A and with a capo on 2, you can play
the D, A G - it is still the key of E.
