Devil Behind The Wheel
By Chris Knight
Written by Chris Knight/Matraca Berg
CD – The Jealous Kind

G D/F# Cadd9 G
I need an angel in the worst kind of way
G D/F# Cadd9 G
Seems like i get meaner every single day
G D/F# Cadd9 G
I don't remember making the devil no damn deals
G D/F# Cadd9 G
Maybe I got lost one night and the devil got behind the wheel

Chorus
           D
Behind the wheel
    Cadd9 G
The devil got behind the wheel
             D
Straight downhill
       Em G Cadd9 G
And my soul was riding shotgun south of kingdom come
     Em Cadd9 G
In a long black Coupe Deville hellfire and steel
    D G
The devil's behind the wheel

There's a road to heaven for every soul on earth
Lord I believe that for what it's worth
So lord if you're listening I'm east of mobile
Rolling down highway 10 but the devil's behind the wheel

Chorus 2:
Behind the wheel
The devil got behind the wheel
Straight downhill
And my soul was riding shotgun south of kingdom come
With horns on the grill
The devil's behind the wheel

Chorus 1

Good tab, great song, however during the verse I found that D/F# could be replaced by Em and seems to sounds better, in my ear anyway. Hope this helps
