Travis, you are not watching the other guitar, the one playing the melody. Kane is just playing a simple rhythm ddddududd using em, d, c 9, g, d, a 9 for the verse, just substitute A 9 for the Asus4. The bm is there he just plays it odd, maybe a bm7? I really can't tell for sure.
