TOUCH THE HAND

KEY: C

Spoken:
C
Today I heard my woman say something I never heard her say before
She just told me she was going to leave me and that she didn't love me anymore
But I know that the love and kindness and the understanding
That she had when I first met her is still there somewhere
So I'm going to get down on my knees and I'm going to say to my baby

CHORUS:
C F C
Touch the hand of the man that made you a woman
C F G C
Then tell me you don't love me anymore

VERSE:
C G C G C
I was the first man to ever hold you in a special kind of way
C F C Am D G
And those unfamiliar feelings that caused you to tremble I know you remember today
C G C
Before you decide you're going to leave me
C G C
And do things you've never done before

CHORUS:
Touch the hand of the man that made you a woman
Then tell me you don't love me anymore

VERSE:
The two lips that once held sweet suprises suprised me and said good-bye today
And those two loving arms that used to reach for me just reached out and pushed me away
I know you believe you don't love me
Before you walk out that door

CHORUS
C F G C F
Touch the hand of the man that made you a woman
F C G C
Then tell me you don't love me anymore

Memories...my parents used to play a Conway album in our van, and I remember singing this to my mom when I was about 6. Damn good song, damn good tab. Thanks for posting it!

Great song. I think there is an F chord before the final C chord in this song though
