Deirks Bentley - Is Anybody Loving You These Days
Intro - G - Am7 - C - D - 2x's
mmmm mmmm mmmm
(verse 1)
G Am7
Midnight, stop light, happens everytime,
C G
Pretty girl in a car,
G Am7
No Resemblance what so ever,
C G
I wonder how you are,
Am G/B C
Constant question poundin in my brain,
Am Bm C G - Am7 - C - D - 2x's
Is anybody loving you these days,
mmmm
(verse 2)
Lonesome pillow, sun come yellow,
I reach across the bed,
Should be hurried, workn' worries,
I lie there instead,
With the thought that's drivin me insane,
Is anybody loving you these days,
(Chorus)
C G D
Damn the small town, every place that I go,
C G D
Drive by your house, see his car and I know,
C G/B
He's there with you, but when he kisses you,
Am G/B C
Think about the memories we made, and tell me,
Am Bm C G - Am7 - C - D
Is anybody loving you these days,
(lead - G - Am7 - C - D - 3x's)
(verse 3)
G Am7
Second chances, backward glances,
C G
Most people just say no,
G Am7
World keeps turnin, heart keeps yearnin,
C G
I keep holdin the hope,
Am G/B C
One day you might answer with my name,
Am Bm C G
Is anybody loving you these days,
(Chorus)
C G D
Damn the small town, every place that I go,
C G D
Drive by your house, see his car and I know,
C G/B
He's there with you, but when he kisses you,
Am G/B C
Think about the memories we made, and tell me,
Am Bm C G/B
Is anybody loving you, I mean really lovin you,
Am Bm C G - Am7 - C - D = 4x's
Is anybody lovin you these days,

"No Reason Bliss" Should be "No Resemblance". Great job! The Music is RIGHT ON!!! -kiwi1108 | 1/29/2004 | thanks for the correction Kiwi...it's now fixed...thanks again:) -palamin0 | 1/30/2004 | Good tab , but it needs a few adjustments according to my ears ....
" He's there with you, but when he kisses you " You have this part as C , then Em7 ... Its C , then C/B (x20010).
Also the ending: "Is anybody loving you, I mean really lovin you" You have this part as " Am , Bm , C , G " It should be " Am , Bm , C , C/B (x20010) "
Hope that helps :) -ES | 9/23/2005 | The difference between an Em7 and a C/B is so small, it doesn't need to have an entirely new tab for it. That is what the comment field is for.
-lmofle | 9/23/2005 | -lmofle | 9/23/2005 | Little difference ? Very big difference , there is a long way from either using 022033 / 022030 / 022000 , to x20010 ..
lmofle, im not trying to start a big arguement here, i know you're a top tabber, which is why it makes me wonder how you can compare a Em to a C/B chord ? Anyways, Em doesn't sound right if you listen to the recording, and im just giving my input here. If an Em had to sound just a little good to that recording, it should be played without the open E string.
Anyways, each to his own i guess. -ES | 9/23/2005 | Oh, and also, the second last line on each verse, says " Am , G , C " it should be " Am , Bm , C " like the last line. -ES | 9/23/2005 | Sorry dude since it has been 2 years, (I think) , since I charted this out I had to dig it out and listen..LEt me say first I was wrong it wasn't an "Em" BUT you also were wrong the chord in both counts are "G/B" NOT 'C/B".. and there is a BIG difference in a "C/B" and a "G/B" G/B = x20033 Hope that helps........
-palamin0 | 9/25/2005 | What an amazing song!!!! So many of the tracks on DB's first album could've been hits. #RIPrealcountry -WildCard76 | 10/18/2023 |
