Get er' Done This is a cool tab. Only Country tabs.com has this tab cause it's so new. Kick ass -Bs1redneck | 5/24/2003 |
Thanks :) -palamin0 | 5/24/2003 |
That's why it says: "What Was I Thinking (corrected) [Chord]" Some will say [Intro] or [Lead] ect...:) -palamin0 | 6/6/2003 |
Great job, wonderful tab, FUN to play. -Trenton | 6/13/2003 |
Lot's of fun and a good job. Thanks - Eric. -eric_steinmetz | 6/15/2003 |
Truly awesome chord. And for it being such a new song... really nice, man. Just one correction:
"Finally got her home at a half past too late."
instead of "half past two."
Gotta be listenin' real close to catch that one. Keep up the good work!!! -Dusk | 6/16/2003 |
thanks dude: corrected now:) -palamin0 | 6/17/2003 |
in the chorus between each chord...how many strums? -mac fisher | 6/19/2003 |
not positive of this, but to me it sounds like most of the chords (except the E and B) are modified (ie D2 C2 A2 G6). Again not positive but that's what i'm hearing. -Numbers21 | 7/6/2003 |
i think that he plays the song with a capo on the third fret. i found that it is easier.of course all of the chords would be different, but try it. -cntyotlw | 7/8/2003 |
The opening acoustic lead uses a few open strings with the capo on the first fret:) -palamin0 | 7/8/2003 |
It's not, the right chords.are..G - to C no matter how ya try it:) -palamin0 | 7/10/2003 |
I usually don't make comments but great job on getting this out so fast!!!!!! IT's a Great song. -jjm7755 | 7/11/2003 |
Thanx jjm7755.... -palamin0 | 7/11/2003 |
Very well done tab..lots of chords
One suggestion..this part I think is all B (like the bridges)
B Then she gave a come-and-get-me grin B Like a bullet, we were gone again
-Shantel | 7/12/2003 |
Exellent tab!!! I practiced this one to karaoke before playing it live. Kind of fast for my vocal style, gotta have good lungs to keep up but it keeps oldies like me in shape. Keep up the good woork!!!!!!!!!!!11 -docrogers001 | 7/28/2003 |
yea...Shantel has it right, it should be "B" not D#9+/5+ or what ever it is that you have...and what kind of chord is that any way? -les paul picker | 8/16/2003 |
get your chord dictionary out and look:) you may learn yourself a new chord:) if you want to play a "B" you can but if you want the right chord which is
D#9/5+ = x65667
now..a new lesson...a chord may have many names take the one above for instance has all these names.... Bsus2add13-/5-/D# C#9/5- F7sus2add13-/5- B13-/5- C#7/5-/D#
YEt still is the same chord, what throws you off on this chord making it sound like a "B' chord is the "7" note in the structure which is a "B" therefore making the chord sound like a "B" chord:) enjoy:) -palamin0 | 8/18/2003 |
That chord you said was D#+7/+5 or what ever: E|--2-| B|--2-| G|--0-| D|--1-| A|--2-| E|--x-| ...is C9 -bowlingdude2000 | 8/29/2003 |
ya better listen to it again...that's no c chord there :) -palamin0 | 8/30/2003 |
You did a great job on this one!!! People like you really help out and make playing fun. Again GREAT job.. -Zoooodie | 9/13/2003 |
Actually a C9 would be this:
E|--3-| B|--3-| G|--0-| D|--2-| A|--3-| E|--x-| -Shantel | 9/17/2003 |
Look on a good chord chart everyone who is commenting and there wouldnt be that many comments would there???
-soccerguy94 | 10/3/2003 |
Cool tab, and to be done so quickly, hats off. And to all those who are being so critical of his tab....maybe you should do your own tab. Ill play this one at my gig any night.
-stevenrhorton | 10/8/2003 |
I just wanted to let you know, palamin0, that you do a terrific job of tabbing and getting the new songs on this site. We have used some at our gigs already and you can count on yours to be done correctly. It really speeds up the learning process of the new songs. Keep up the great work! Your awesome man!
-gregretter | 10/15/2003 |
great tab man, love this song -Huckleberry26 | 10/30/2003 |
OK 2:05 minutes into the song before the 5th verse starts (When a mountain of a man...) What is the chord progression after the chorus and before verse starts? I am playing it E-B-A-E B-C-D-E then into the 5th verse? I am not sure about the B chord.
-Pat Garrett | 11/6/2003 |
what bout for bass. Most of that is right for the notes but there are a few bass fills in tehre. any1 know if there just major/minor scales?
-rimmytose | 2/12/2004 |
great tab. you really do great work. were you planning on tabing the solo anytime soon? -musclecar34 | 3/9/2004 |
i think E should be Em...just a suggestion -kandrews | 4/26/2004 |
kandrews better listen to it again..... -palamin0 | 4/26/2004 |
Somebody said that the lyrics were wrong....
they arent.
it is: "half past too late"
he says "late" just as he is beginning his next line.
oh, and i want to give a GIANT thank you to palimin0 and Shantel. I know you two do alot of tabbing and I know that I can always be sure that it is 99% accurate. Thanks. -dollarbill | 6/9/2004 |
hey my dad uses this account, and im a bit green at guitar picking. i see the chords and the transitions are very easy but how do you figure out how to pick/strum it? in the song, it's hard to hear anything but drums in the verses. -smada | 7/29/2004 |
