Alright I'm tired of people trying to make this song harder
than what it really is. I have no Idea where some of these
people come up with this stuff. Not to put anyone down but
this song is to easy to complicate. The trick to this song
is hybrid picking. I explained how to do it in a correction
I made in the other one, then I decided just to go ahead
and tab it out myself. This song is a great intro into
hybrid picking. After all, it's a good trick to know.
Alright here we go.
Use your middle and ring fingers to pick the D and G strings
in the verse.
Hold the pick between your thumb and your index fingers like normal.
Use the pick to hit the bass notes in the verse and to
strum and pick the notes in the intro and chorus.
Play the chords like this.
B G#m C#m F#
e------- ------- ------- -------
B------- ------- ------- -------
G--4-4-- --4-4-- --6-6-- --3-3--
D--4-4-- --6-6-- --6-6-- --4-4--
A-2----- ---6--- -4----- ---4---
E---2--- -4----- ---4--- -2-----
Make sure you pluck and pick with a nice rock-a-billy feel to it.
Here is the intro
G#m
e---4-4---4---------------------------456----------
B---4--4--4----------------------------------------

D---6-----6-------6------------6-------------------
A---6-----6--------664h6--------664h6--------------
E---4-----4----------------------------------------
Try to make each note stand out just a little.
Play the chords the way I showed for the verse.

I think people have learned to trust my solos a LONG time ago...lol Just one thing to make your tabs a bit better....check your lyrics. You've got a lot of words and spellings wrong in there, and lyrics are a major part of any tab containing them! -axehappy | 7/15/2002 | Not only that but you come across demeaning when you say things like: OK, I'm tired of people making this harder than it is"
Some people have a harder time with it... -lmofle | 11/15/2002 | Intro Lick:
e -------------------------- b -------------------------- G -3h4-4p3-1---------------- D -----------11---1~-------- Twice A --------------4----------- E --------------------------
e ----[4]-6/7~-------------- b --[4]-------------------- G -[4]--------------------- D [6]---------------------- A -------------------------- E -------------------------- Palm Mute Rake
Telemon Peace -Telemon | 11/18/2002 | Those are the same notes that I Play, If I where you I'd Play them the way I have It written and I'll tell you why, Instead of moving your hand into two different positions You can just play the riff and go staight into the G#m chord. Also I did mean to put anyone down, It's just everyone I see trying to play this song are using dom7 chords. It's all majors and minors, that's all the harder it is. -the legend | 12/20/2002 |
