CAPO 2ND FRET

Intro
Bm F#m G A7sus A7

D A/C# Bm
Well, You and I, we're buddies
F#m G D/F# A
and we've been since we first met
D A/C# Bm F#m
Me and you, well, we've sure been through
            G A
Our share of laughter and regret
F#m G
Lord knows we've had our bad days
F#m G
and more than once we've disagreed
A7 D F#m G A7 D
But you've always been a friend to me

You can be so stubborn
There's times I think you just like to fight
and i hope and pray
i live to see a day
when you say i might be right
And there's times I'd rather kill you
Than listen to your honesty
                                  D D/F#
But you've always been a friend to me.

G A7
You've always been, time and again,
    D G
the one to take my hand
G A7
And show to me, that its okay to be
Bm D/A G
just the way I am
G D
With no apology
           D F#m G D
Oh you've al - ways been, and you will
    F#m G
til God knows when
           D F#m G A7 D
yes, you've always been a friend to me

Excellent job with this tab!

what is an a/c?

-silverlotus | 12/2/2004

its an A chord with a C# bass note:
E-0-
B-2-
G-2-
D-2-
A-4-
E-x-

play a regular A chord with your first finger and then use your third finger to get the C#
