Whiskey To Wine
By Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood
Tabbed by Larry Mofle
11/2/2016

I had a request to give this a shot from mgallops and while I am
not a fan of tabbing songs live just because you can't hear the nuances,
I like the song! You can hear a D/F# on the 3rd line of the 1st verse
(where I have the D ) but it is the only time I hear it. Tabbed from

Capo 3

           G D C G
Yeah she's nice yeah she's pretty and she's crazy about me
           Em D C
She's what every man's hoping to find
      G D C G
She's always a lady and that's driving me crazy
            Em D G
Cause after you it's like going from whiskey to wine

Chorus:
           D C G
Whiskey to wine, it's just not the same high
               A7 D
But I miss the fire, the burning desire
                  C Em D C
We fought like we loved and we loved all the time
C G C
We're no good together but it's sure as hell better
           Em D G
Than going forever from Whiskey to Wine

When I talked he listens, he don't show up missing
He's patient, polite and refined
He's handsome, romantic but the problem is damning
Cause after you, it's like going from whiskey to wine

Chorus

Bridge:
     D C G
It's probably best we rejoin the rest
           C G D
And try to have what they call a good time
    G C G
And hope it's not showing, we're walking in knowing
           Em D G
That we're going from whiskey to wine
