Capo 4 (or tune down 1/2 step and play key of E)

D G
I'm gonna change my ways, of doing things around here
D E7 A
I'm turnin’ over a new leaf, gonna get myself in gear
      D
Cause I've got a woman who's better than most
    G E7
And I've made a mess of her plans
G A D
Starting today all I'm gonna be is her man

Chorus:
                   G D
'Cause I've been a wildcatter, and a go go getter
       A D
Been a SOB right down to the letter
     G D
I've had misadventures, I've even got pictures
E7 A
I'm even more than I can stand
    G A D
But starting today, all I'm gonna be is her man

I'm gonna give it all back, cause I've done is take
Well I put her on the back burner, while I was out on the make
But I've got a woman who's good enough to give me a second chance again
And starting today all I'm gonna be is her man

Chorus

Bridge:
      G A
I'm a little bit late, but I'm wisin’ up
        D Bm
Now I'm takin’ her by the hand
    G A D
And starting today all I'm gonna be is her man

Good call - thanks!

Maybe it's just me but I think the chord progression for the bridge/tag is

pre> G D A Bm /pre> ????

I play the same chords, except that I use E instead of E7, and I capo on the 3rd fret. It sounds more like the real deal on the 4th fret, but I think it sounds better my way. Then again, Gary has a higher voice than I do.

Oh, and frosty, the bridge chords are right as they are.
