Capo 2

D A Bm G D
I'm out here everyday, breaking hearts along the way
D A Bm G G/F# Em
I cause tears to fall and some to lose it all
Em D/F# G Em D/F# G
This old world would be, Better off without me
Em A D G D A Bm G
I'm the saddest word you've spoken, I'm a promise broken

I'm the ball the game that you missed, I'm the calls that don't come in
I'm ever poor excuse used to cover up the truth
I tell the people that you love, that they don't matter quite enough
There's no stopping me once I'm in motion, i'm a promise broken

Bridge:
Em D Bm A
Dissapointment, dissallusion, dispair, confusion
Em D/F# G
I've seen it all in their eyes
      Em D Bm A
Don't promise you will, if you won't, don't say you do, if you don't
Em D/F# G
It's alright to say you'll try

Well I get pushed aside when you move on with your life
But I'll stand the test of time in your heart and in your mind
You'll think about me now and then, wonder how your live might've been
But I will leave you never knowing, I'm a promise broken

I'm a promise broken

Sounds great! The only thing I disagree with is just a lyric: "I've seen it all in their eyes" is what that says, I believe. Thanks for submitting it!

wish you could tab it without capo but great job still

The chords without the capo would be:

D - E
A - B
Bm - C#m
G - A
G/F# - A/C#
Em - F#m
D/F# - can't really get a fingering for this one because the E is the lowest note which was why I tabbed it with a capo.

Plus, for the beginners, C#m, F#m and A/C# are harder to do.

can anyone do the tab for it?
