I know there’s already a tab (and a real good one) of this song, but as I’m not
fond of tuning my guitar down half a step, I thought I’d post a tab of the song
played in an easier setup. For other lazy Honeybrowne lovers everywhere, here
you go. If the chords look hard, it’s really just a matter of removing the
finger you would normally use on the second fret of the “A” string and use
it to play the second fret on the “G” string instead…easier than it might look.
This song is so wonderful, and largely because of how simple it is to play.

Soundbyte available upon request (post a comment requesting it if you want it).

Ill be damned. It works. I saw this at work and didnt think those pulloffs would sound right, but sure enough they did. Good job fella. I used to try playing this with bar chords (i.e. A on the fourth fret) to compensate for the retune, but I couldnt duplicate the suspended chords. I hate retuning too, so if you could tell me how you figured that out.

Honestly, I just listen and try to pick out the home note in the song on the guitar...like, this song is in Ab, so when I was trying to figure it out, I noodled around on the guitar like it was a bass (one note at a time) until I found that the Ab sounded right with the home chord of the song...then I just remember my transpositioning and remembered that Ab=G#=capo 1 and play in G....and there ya go, the rest just fell into place...hope that explains, I'll email this to you as well. Any other questions, please post and I'll answer asap.
