Take A Little Ride
By Jason Aldean

Capo 1st Fret
(Not really hard, pretty simple actualy.)

Intro E G D A x 2

Standard Tuning

Verse 1

E G
Been going round and round all day
D A
Bailin' some hay, and stackin' it all up
E G
Can't wait for the sun to go down
D A
Roll into town, shine the old truck up
E G D
Swing by the quick stop, grab a little shiner bock
     A E G D
Then ease on out your way, to your place around 8 o'clock

Chorus 1
E G
Well I'm just ready to ride this Chevy
D A
Ride this Chevy down a little back road
E G
Slide your pretty little self on over
D A
Get a little closer, turn up the radio
E G
Put your pretty pink toes on the dash
D A
Lean the seat back, man I swear
E G
There aint nothing looks better than that
                  D A
Sweet tan, little thing with nothin' to do
A
I wanna take a little ride with you

E G D A E G D A

Verse 2
E G
I hope you're wearing those straight out cut offs
D A
Makes me wanna get lost out in the moonlight
E G
Drop the tailgate down on a turn row,
D A
Watch the corn grow, baby that's a good night
E G D
Anyone from the heartland is gonna understand
         A E
What I'm talking about right now
         G D
Ain't no doubt, we got a game plan

Chorus 2

E G
Well I'm just ready to ride this Chevy
D A
Ride this Chevy down a little back road
E G
Slide your pretty little self on over
D A
Get a little closer, turn up the radio
E G
Put your pretty pink toes on the dash
D A
Lean the seat back, man I swear
E G
There aint nothing looks better than that
                  D A
Sweet tan, little thing with nothin' to do
A
I wanna take a little ride with you

Great tab for a great song. Couple of lyrics corrections

Verse 1 - Its "Swing by the quick stop, grab a couple Rocky Tops"

Verse 2 - Its "I hope you're wearing those frayed out cut offs"

Nice job! N its Shiner bock. Listen to the song people! Lol!

-steveo711 | 12/29/2012
it was shiner bock till coors paid him a lot of money to change it to rocky tops and it become the new coors theme song and him a new celebrity endorsement

-austin.219 | 12/29/2012
There is NO capo on this song!!!!!
-pwilson | 3/13/2013
Some radio stations use a version that say "Rocky Top" instead of Shiner Bock.
