I am wondering if all or some of the C's should be Cadd9's.........Not exactly sure but tell me what you guys think
-jocephus | 9/9/2009
Cadd9's dont sound too bad either!
-colhogan | 10/29/2009
I use the Cadd9s on the C's that arent played with words in the verse. right after the D going into G
-parkayj | 11/13/2009
Good Job!

what this guy play it on youtube. he plays the intro and all and it sounds perfect. You can see that he uses the regular C chord but slides to get that little run. Great way to learn the intro and chords... I learned it in a few watches
-gorillas68 | 11/23/2009
For anyone trying to learn the intro in this key, the Hammer on is G to Cadd9, then the slide is a regular C that you slide up 2 frets while strumming. Guy in video above plays it in a different key, but same basic concept.

can someone pelase give the strumming pattern... like down up up down etc.. for this song Thanks!
-LaneDBT | 12/22/2009
In response to lane-dbt check out lessons section for strumming slower songs and also youtube video "learning acoustic guitar new strum pattern -get rhythm. the pattern is very similar to this. play along with you tube the truth video and you'll get a feel for it .
-kissyfer | 12/25/2009
Your right but, if you play the Cadd9... you can't slide up from the C to a Dsusadd11 (or something like that) Where the tab has a D on the verse... Just play the C slide up 2 frets and play the D (same fingering as a C) then right back down to a D. Once again though. Good job. I think some people on here (not on this tab or comment section) cannot hear properly! Good Job.
-jlowder2727 | 1/6/2010
Sorry... right back down to the C (not the D)
-jlowder2727 | 1/6/2010
If you wanted to have the hammer on to the Cadd9, you still could. If you play your G with your middle, ring, and pinkie fingers, you can still get the hammer on to Cadd9, as well as be in position to play a normal C and slide down to the D and back to the C.

FYI Trent Willmon cut this song first on "Broken In". I like Aldean, but I think Willmon does a better job. His voice is just so much cooler.
