Heart of Gold - Neil Young

Em C D G
I want to live, I want to give
Em C D G
I've been a miner for a heart of gold
Em C D G
It's these expressions I never give
Em G D
That keep me searching for a heart of gold
C G
And I'm getting old
Em G D
Keep me searching for a heart of gold
C (riff) G
And I'm getting old

(Repeat intro Em-D pattern)

Em C D G
I've been to Hollywood, I've been to Redwood
Em C D G
I've crossed the ocean for a heart of gold
Em C D G
I've been in my mind, it's such a fine line
Em G D
That keeps me searching for a heart of gold
C riff G
And I'm getting old

(Harmonica solo)

Em D Em
Keep me searching for a heart of gold
    Em D Em
You keep me searching and I'm getting old
Em D Em
Keep me searching for a heart of gold
Em G D
I've been a miner for a heart of gold

Key of Gm, the relative minor key to Bb. You
need a capo on the third fret. And that riff
is the easy way, a sting= 3rd fret, 2nd fret
open, strum G chord. That's the easy way. In
the manuscr i pt, you strum the C, Bm, Am,
then the G chords, once each. For this
version, capo to the 3rd fret. I put a tab
on here in Bb, but it got deleted. Don't
know why.

Perfect tab, thanks. Also at the end after the last line he drops back to a C chord then does that 3-2-0 riff and finishes on G.
