*On this recording at Sun Studio, Luther Perkins was using
a Fender Esquire and an Echosonic amp. Echosonic amps were
built by a fellow named Ray Butts. These amps also had a
built-in tape delay unit, which Luther used quite frequently,
including the recording of TRAIN OF LOVE. Some of you may
already know this, but these units, when activated, will raise
the pitch of the guitar. If you play along with this and
many other SUN recordings, the Key Of F will sound flat because
of Luther's utilization of the tape delay unit. The delay is
quite obvious in this recording, I might add!

In the sound byte, I am using a telecaster, Fender Frontman 15R amp, and a
Danelectro Reel Echo tape simulator.
