Just like axe's with different spots on the neck. This is how i've been playing it and im 100% sure this is how Keith plays it. Good tab.

Hi guys. New member here. I'm an old bassist/acoustic strummer, and my 81 yr old dad plays like Earl Scruggs. No lie! We have never played together except around the house while I was growing up, and we want to learn this song and film the event. Can you guys tell me who has the most accurate tab on here? Even the intro sounds good either way it is tabbed here. I really appreciate it if you could help. You can email directly if you wish at dnightowl@cox.net.....Thanks a bunch. keep rockin!

p/s I switched to electric guitar a few years ago....
-dnightowl | 3/29/2005
isnt fret 17 like way too far down the neck? how on earth do you play way down there?
-olgalu | 6/17/2005
bye sliding you're hand down....

-guyinhat | 7/23/2005
olgalu, on an electric theres more.. room for the frets.... im sure how to explain it...
I wish i had an electric, ive been dying to play this song since ive heard it!
-brandtfan | 10/13/2005
does anybody have the tabs for the ending solo??
-Labellewrestler | 10/15/2005
i can't play this tab properly yet, but have just bought his living right now dvd and downloaded many live videos of him playing this song and this is exactly how he plays it, its an easy looking solo but actually tricky to get the hang of in my opinion....
-TimMiles | 12/26/2005
Actually lookin over it again i think the beginning is wrong it should be more like this

E------------------------------
B-12-12----9-------------------
G-11-11bh----11---9h11-9-------
D------------------------------
A------------------------------
E------------------------2/15/0

-TimMiles | 12/26/2005
It was written wrong my bad.
-yinielin | 12/27/2005
you tabbed this very very well its gotta be said, your not able to give me a hand to work out the 3 or 4 chords he uses when it ses "Shining down on me and you....." then he does the really fast strumming...i love that bit but cannot find the correct chords anywhere!
-TimMiles | 12/27/2005
its just octaves first G# then F# then E
-yinielin | 12/28/2005
the last little part does not look like what Keith plays. After the G- 2 2 2 2/12 it looks like he goes to the 5th fret on the G string then high on the same string. something like that, someone please help me with this.
