Keith Urban - Tonight I Wanna Cry

Intro - G - G/B - Cadd9 = 2x's

(verse 1)
G G/B Cadd9
Alone in this house again tonight,
               G G/B Cadd9
I got the t.v. on sound turned down and a bottle of wine,
                    Em7 Bm
There's pictures of you and I on the walls around me,
    Em7 Bm
The way that it was and could've been surounds me,
     Am7 Cmaj7 D
I'll never get over you, walkin a - way,

(chorus)
Em Cadd9 G D
I've never been the kind to ever to let my feelin's show,
Em Cadd9 G D
And I thought that bein' strong meant never losin' your self control,
                   Cmaj7 Bm
But I"m just drunk enough, to let go of my pain,
               Cmaj7 Bm Am7
To hell wih my pride, let it fall like rain, from my eyes,
 C G - G/B - Cadd9
Tonight I wanna cry,

(verse 2)
G G/B Cadd9
Would it help if I turned this sad song on,
           G G/B Cadd9
"All by Myself" would sure hit me hard now that you're gone,
         Em7 Bm
Or maybe unfold some old yellow lost love letters,
      Em7 Bm
It's gonna hurt bad before it gets better,
          Am7 Cmaj7 D
But I'll never get over you, hidin' this wa - ay,

(chorus)
Em Cadd9 G D
I've never been the kind to ever to let my feelin's show,
Em Cadd9 G D
And I thought that bein' strong meant never losin' your self control,
                   Cmaj7 Bm
But I"m just drunk enough, to let go of my pain,
               Cmaj7 Bm Am7
To hell wih my pride, let it fall like rain, from my eyes,
C Am7 - G - Am7 - G - Am - G/B - Cadd9 - D - D#
Tonight I wanna cry,

(chorus)
Em7 Cadd9 G D
I've never been the kind to ever to let my feelin's show,
Em7 Cadd9 G D
And I thought that bein' strong meant never losin' your self control,
                   Cmaj7 Bm
But I"m just drunk enough, to let go of my pain,
               Cmaj7 Bm Am7 - G/B - C

I know the basic chords and I am looking for songs that are simple that i can start with. Any sugg. would be appreciated. Just list them on a comment and i will go to them. thanks sharken

-charlie84 | 11/2/2005
if you play the Cmaj7 in another variation...
x35453 (easy to play as a bar chord on the 3rd fret) it sounds much more like the piano chord
