 6 6 6 6 6 -5 5 -5 6 6 6 -5 5
Busted flat in Baton Rouge, waitin' for a train.
  5 -5 5 6 6 -5 -5 -5 5 -4 4 -4
When I was feelin' near as faded as my jeans.
 -5 5 -5 5 -5 5 -4 -5 5 -5 5 -4
Bobby thumbed a diesel down, just before it rained.
  5 -5 5 -5 -5 5 -4 4 -4 5
That rode us all away to New Orleans.

6 6 6 6 6 -5 5 -5 6 6 6 6 -5 5
I pulled my harpoon out of my dirty red bandana.
5 -5 6 6 6 -6 -7 -7 6 5 -5
I was blowin' sad while Bobby sang the blues.
 -6 -7 7 -7 7 -7 7 -7 -6 -5 6 -5 5 -5 5 6 -5 5
With them windshield wipers slappin' time, I was holding Bobby's hand in mine.
 5 -4 -4 -4 -5 -4 4 -3 4
We sang every song that driver knew.

Chorus:
  7 7 7 7 7 -7 -6 -6 6 -5 5 -5 6
Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to lose.
 -5 5 -5 -5 -5 5 5 4 4 -4 5
Nothin' don't mean nothin, hon if it ain't free.
  7 7 7 7 7 7 -7 -6 -5 6 -5 5 -5 6
Yeah, feelin' good was easy Lord when Bobbi sang the blues.
 -4 4 -4 -4 -4 5 -5 -4 -4 -4 -3
You know feelin' good was good enough for me.
 -5 -5 -5 5 -4 -4 -4 -4 4 -3 4
Good enough for me and my Bobby McGee.

what key is this in?
-thunder_sings | 1/10/2006
For a harp, you can use it for any key. The
channels run the same way. The 4th hole,
when blowing is the root, draw(inhale) is
the second of the scale, the 5th hole, when
blowing is the third. So on an A harp that
would be in order, A, B, C#. On a C harp,
C, D, E. The really low, and really high notes are somewhat different.
