A farm house in the thirties

Had no form of central heat

The bed rooms were super cold

This is how we warmed our feet

We went a-shivering from foot to head

 To our feather-bed, with heavy comfort

With a sack of heated rocks at the foot of the bed

Put a stop to chattering teeth

Cause we had warm feet instead

We'd pull the comfort up over our head

And sleep so very tight
