In to see his cardiologist

About his brand new pace-maker

Just installed the other day

He re-newed his  driver's license

One day last week

And the way he handled his blackberry,

I'd say he was on a winning streak

Just think, I was about to roll over
At my tender age of seventy eight
Till this feller made himself known
I was about to sucumb to my fate

He was born in 1917, I was 1932
My war was the one in Korea
His war was Europe WW II
We both survived the depression too
