Twelve cents to get in, popcorn a dime

A double feature, so we had a good time

Hopalong Cassidy, and Lash Larue
Gene, and Roy, and Jimmy Wakeley too
Tom Mix, Tex Ritter, and Johnny Mack Brown
King of the Yukon, and the Rednosed Clown

After the show, we'd go to the Coffee Shop
Where neighbors and cousins were bumping their chops
Dime for a hamburger, nickle for a Coke
Our once a month treat,  and that's no joke

Nobody had much, but we had a good time
When the show was 12 cents and popcorn a dime
