The cocky Blue Jay

Used to visit our oak-covered grounds
D7
You could see him night and day
G
Fluttering to and fro with that bluejay sound:
Sound byte:
He would come flittering thru the trees
Once in awhile he'd hit a window pane
That would drop him down to his knees
Before he could fly away again
He'd lay there on the bank of snow
Shaking his head back and forth
Trying to get his bearings
Then he would take off to the North
Sometimes he'd leave some feathers
Scattered there in the snow
Shook loose from the force
Of his fast darting blow
Chorus:
Yes, that cocky blue jay
Used to visit our oak covered grounds
You could see him night and day
Fluttering to and fro with that bluejay sound:
