Dm9 - XX0210
Cadd9 - X32033

Also appears to be in Drop D tuning...

Capo 1

D
Oh my baby, when you're older
D Dm9
Maybe then you'll understand
         Cadd9 G D
You have angels to dance around your shoulders
         Cadd9 G D
cause at times in life you'll need a helping hand

Oh my baby, when you're prayin'
Leave your burden by my door
You have jesus standing at your bedside
To keep you calm, keep you safe away from harm

Chorus:
D
Worry not my daughters
Cadd9 Dm9
Worry not my sons
Cadd9 D
Child, when life don't seem worth living
        Cadd9 G D
Come to jesus and let him hold you in his arms

Oh my baby, when you're cryin
Never hide your face from me
I have conquered hell and driven out the demons
I have come with the light to set you free

Chorus

Oh my baby, when you're dyin
Believe the healing of his hand
Here in heaven we will wait for your arrival
Here in heaven you will finally understand
Here in heaven we will wait for your arrival
Here in heaven you will finally understand

Chorus

When I play and listen to this it sounds to me like the Chourus Chords should be pre>D Cadd9 Dm Cadd9 Dm Cadd9 G D/pre>, What do you think?
-sailinshoes81 | 12/29/2004
Sure - you can get away with the Dm instead of the Dm9
-lmofle | 12/30/2004
Try this...
tune guitar 1/2 step down.
Basic chords are
verse:E7 D A E chorus:E D A bridge:A E
with some pull-offs and such thrown in.

Actually, in the chorus, the Dm9 sounds a little flat to me - I just play D again. Sounds fuller and more in line with the original song.
Peace!
