Bring Me Down - Miranda Lambert
Album: Kerosene

Intro: Em D9 (x2)

B C#m
Sweet like a kiss sharp like a razor blade
    E B
I find you when I'm close to the bottom
B C#m
You can't appreciate the time it takes
           E B
To kick a love I always knew was kind of wrong
                            A E B
And as I'm putting out the fla---me
                        A E
Somebody brings up you na--me

Chorus:
A
Oh oh oh oh
E D
Baby baby baby bring me down
          A E
I want to be right where you are
E D
Baby baby baby bring me down
         A D
You can look me in the eye and break my heart
           E
Break my heart

E D9 E D9

B C#m
Six AM unruffled pillow
E B
Laughs out loud at my trusting heart
B C#m
It's like I didn't see the pennies
   E B
I missed the fountain by a couple yards
                       A E B
If you would only stay go---ne
                   A E
Maybe I could move o---n

Break: F#m D F#m D F#m

Can anyone make this song easier for me to play? like without bar chords?lol thanks
-rissagirl0323 | 7/22/2005
It's pretty much impossible to avoid bar chords because the verse and chorus are in different keys. Otherwise I always try to avoid them on my tabs :o)

rissagirl0323, If you were to play Capo 2 and transpose the chords Shantel has listed one whole step down (e.g. Em becomes Dm), this would leave you with only an occasional Bm, which you could play XX4432,
thus eliminating any barre chords. FYI, C9 could be played as X32333.

I looked at some video I shot at her concert performing this song, and she does play it with a Capo 2.
