Cocaine's gonna kill my honey dead

All them rounders that think they're tough

But they feed their women on the beer and the snuff

Cocaine's gonna kill my honey dead

After listening to the video on CMT.com, it feels like there should probably be a G chord above the word "dead" so that the chord progression has a final resolution. I believe playing G-Cadd9-G or G-C-G at the end of the phrase sounds acceptable as well. What I find amazing is that even though you can see them playing A,A7,D,D7,A without a capo on the video, the chord changes sound better to me as G,G7,C,C7,G with the capo on 2. I have a feeling that the reason for this is that the traditional type of chord progression for this song would more than likely have been G,G7,C,C7,G with no capo. I know that is how I prefer to play it when I am not playing along with the recording.
