Till the cops show up or the beer is gone
It's just another weekend
In this little one horse town
The streets light went out and hour ago
There ain't nobody else around
except me and the boys
loading up for our weekend run
and we"ll aim that truck to da riverside
to have us a little fun
and we'll be sitting by the river all damn night
playing our guitars by the moon light
a few girls, my buddies and me
that the way we party down here in tennessee
just a singing , drinking and a carrying on
till the cops show up or the beer is gone
After a weeks worth of work
I'm always ready for a little R&R
And the crowd just ain't my kind
Down at the local bar
I need to hear some live music
An makes some of my own
so if you need me in the next 2 days
ill be at my home away from home
