She worked a Honky Tonk Bar 
Down by the bay
Sang all night 
Slept all day

To keep her car on the road
The Chevy Impala
She did the afternoon shift 
At 6strings tattoo parlour

The parlour would close about 9pm
And she’d head back to Wayne’s club again
Her voice was strong and sweet
She was the nicest cowgirl

The cowboy’s in town all new the story
How she loved that country pickin’ boy Korry
But he loved her and left her
So matter of factly
Due to her jealous old boyfriend “Axehappy”

He played the guitar, she loved to sing

So now she is switchin’ to Country and Blues

Korry went and asked that girl
