(verse 1)
D Dsus4 D Dsus2
I had all but giv--in up,
D Dsus4 D Dsus2 Bm - A
On findin the one that I could fall into,
                G
On the day before you,
D Dsus4 D Dsus2
I was ready to set---tle for,
D Dsus4 D Dsus2
Less than love and not much more,
             Bm A G
There was no such thing as a dream come true,
       Bm A G
oh but that was On the day before you,

(chorus)
D G
Now you're here, and everythings changin'
Bm A G
Suddenly life means so much,
D G
I can't wait, to wake up tomorrow,
    Bm A G
And find out this promise is true,
       Em7 D/F# G
I will never have to go back to,
                D
The day before you,

(verse 2)
D Dsus4 D Dsus2 D
IN your eyes I see for--ev---er,
D Dsus4 D Dsus2 Bm - A
Makes me wish that my life never knew,
                G
The day before you,
         D Dsus4 D Dsus2 D
Oh But heaven knows those years wit--hout you,
D Dsus4 D Dsus2 D
Shapin my heart for the day that I found you,
Bm A G
You're the reason for all that I've been through,
          Bm A G
Then I'm thankful for the day before you, yea, yea,

(chorus)
D G
Now you're here, and everythings changin'
Bm A G
Suddenly life means so much,
D G
I can't wait, to wake up tomorrow,
    Bm A G
And find out this promise is true,
       Em7 D/F# G
I will never have to go back to,
     A Cadd9
The day before you,

(bridge)
                                     G
Was the last day that I ever lived alone,
          A D
And I'm never going back,
         A D
No I'm never going back,

(chorus)
E A
Now you're here, and everythings changin'

Suddenly life means so much, (so much)
E A/C#
I can't wait, (I can't wait), to wake up tomorrow,

            A
Day before you,

For some odd reason, maybe it's my MP3, the "G" does not sound right.. Not in barre chord or otherwise.. is there an alternate?
-SylntKnght | 11/2/2004
G = 320033 it's a G chord....
-palamin0 | 11/3/2004
I have learned to play Guitar by ear, and that's it. I have never been able to read tabs, what is a "d sus" I know what all the majors and minors are, just not he sus's.
-Colecanada | 11/13/2004
d sus is a D chord but instead of your finger being on the second fret of the high E, it's on the 3rd ;)
-SylntKnght | 11/22/2004
Right on. It's sounds even better when you play it in drop D.

Palamin0 - I know you tab a lot of songs but my ear is hearing a wrong tone with that G. When I sing the song with the capo in the 1, the g sounds better and is easier to sing. Just my thoughts; I didn't break out the headphones to check it out. Don't mean to offend you, just telling you what I hear.
-bjustice1 | 2/13/2005
no offense taken I'll take a listen you could be right
-palamin0 | 2/17/2005

-Cowboy_tx01 | 6/21/2005

-cj88 | 9/13/2005
