Rebecca Lynn Howard - Forgive

By axehappy - axehappy at countrytabs.com

C(2) in these chords just means its still C, just with a high G note.
Just another shape for C really...lol
Same with C(3)...its just missing the lowest note to make it easier
to play.
In fact, you can probably get away with playing a lot of the add9th's
and stuff, but you guys know what I'm like for chords...lol
It sounds nicer if you play them... ;o)

C(2)     =   xx2013                       C(b5)     =   xx2012

C(3)     =   xx2010                       C(add9)   =   x3203x

C        =   x32010                       G/B       =   x20003

D        =   xx0232                       G         =   320003

Dsus     =   xx0233                       Em        =   022000

Am       =   x02210                       G(add9)   =   320203 or 357433

Cmaj7    =   x32000                       Gsus      =   320013

Bm       =   x24432

*****************************************************************************

C(2)   C(b5)  C(3)  C(add9)  C  G/B  D
INTRO

G                       Dsus
I always said that'd be it,
       C(add9)
That I wouldn't stick around
                       Dsus  D
If it ever came to this.
      G       Dsus
Here I am, so confused.
       C(add9)
How am I supposed to leave,
                  Dsus  D
When I can't even move?
       Em
In the time that it would've took to say,
 C
"Honey I'm home, how was your day?"
    Am
You dropped a bomb right where we live,
    C(add9)                   G
And just expected me to forgive.

              D
Well that's a mighty big word

For such a small man,
    C(2)  C(b5)  C(3)  C(add9)  G
And I'm not sure I can.
       D
'Cause I don't even know now who I am,
C(2)  C(b5)  C(3)   C(add9)  C  G/B  D      G
It's too soon for me to say forgive.

                   G(add9)
I should ask but I won't,
       C
Was it love or just her touch?
                                   Dsus  D
'Cause I don't think I want to know.
          G                       Dsus D
So get you some things and get out.
      C(add9)
Don't call me for a day or two,
                   Dsus D
So I can sort this out.
         Em
Well you might as well have ripped the life
      Cmaj7            C
Right out of me, right here tonight,
     Am
When through the fallen tears you said
C(add9)
"Can you ever just forgive?"

G             D
Well that's a mighty big word

For such a small man,
    C(2)  C(b5)  C(3)  C(add9)  G
And I'm not sure I can.
       D
'Cause I don't even know now who I am,
C(2)  C(b5)  C(3)  C(add9)  C  G/B  D      G     Gsus
It's too soon for me to say forgive.

Bm                        C
  Well you know what they say,
   G
Forgive and forget,
  Dsus          G  D  C
Relive and regret.

   G
Forgive,
              D
Well that's a mighty big word

For such a small man,
    C(2)  C(b5)  C(3)  C(add9)  G
And I'm not sure I can.
       D
'Cause I don't even know now who I am,
C(2)  C(b5)  C(3)   C(add9)  C  G/B  D      G
It's too soon for me to say forgive.

C(2)  C(b5)  C(3)   C(add9)  C  G/B  D
It's too soon for me to say

        G(add9)
Forgive.
