I am Old Bush Pilot-Robin Hopper
Robin Hopper sent this tab to me; it is the way she sings
It on her album: Up On A Mountain Top
bluerabbit10

Iım (C) just an old bush (C7) pilot, the (F) blue sky is my (C) home.
I fly the wild (Am) vastness, from (D7) Fort Yukon to (G) Nome.
From (C) Juneau to Point (C7) Barrow, over (F) snow and land and (E7) sea,
And (F) like the soaring (C) eagle, the (Dm7) wind it (G) calls to (C) me.

I (C) learned when I was (C7) young, to (F) fly by the seat of my (C) pants.
Got no use for (Am) radar, and Iıve (D7) got no need for (G) maps.
I (C) use the wild (C7) rivers, and I (F) read that frozen (E7) land.
I re - (F) ly on what they (C) tell me, and (Dm7) on my (G) steady (C) hand.

Well, I (F) fly all kind of weather, and (E7) itıs a thankless (Am) job.
Iım (D7) kissinı all the treetops, and Iım (G) playing tag with God.
Iım l (F) l oaded a little (C) heavy, and my (E7) fuel is runninı (Am) low.
But the (C) folks down in the (Am) village, they (Dm7) count on (G) me, I (C) know.

I (C) make all kinds of (C7) landings, but (F) none that I make are (C) bad.
As long as I can (Am) walk away, itıs the (D7) best I ever (G) had.
And (C) when she noses (C7) over, well I (F) do what I can (E7) do
To (F) get her in the (C) air again, and (Dm7) land her (G) safely, (C) too.

I (F) fly those mountain passes, you can (E7) hear my motor (Am) whine.
As (D7) long as thereıs air below me, well, I (G) know Iım doinı fine.
The (F) clouds float past my (C) wingtips, and the (E7) world is total (Am) white.
Thank (C) God, Iıve got my (Am) gauges, theyıll (Dm7) bring me (G) in to - (C) night.

Iım (C) just an old bush (C7) pilot, the (F) blue sky is my (C) home.
I (C) fly the wild (Am) vastness, from (D7) Fort Yukon to (G) Nome.
