LOST IN THE FIFTIES TONIGHT

F Fmaj#5
Close your eyes, baby, follow my heart,
            Bb Gm7b5
Call on the memories, here in the dark.
              F G
We'll let the magic take us away,
            Gm7 C C?
Back to the feeling we shared when they'd play:

CHORUS:
       F Dm Bb C
In the still of the night, hold me darling, hold me tight.
   F Dm Bb C
Oh, shoo-doop, shoo-be-do, shoo-doo, doo; so real, so right
                      F
Lost in the fifties tonight

F Fmaj#5
These precious hours, we know can't survive
                Bb Gm7b5
Love's all that matter's while the past is alive
            F G
Now and for always, till time disappears
                Gm7 C C?
We'll hold each other whenever we hear

Chorus
Saxophone Solo
Chorus then repeating the "shoo doo" and so real so right parts to fade. But
the way I do it, I play an instrumental chorus over the solo, then sing the
chorus, then do the shoo doo line four times and finish off by saying "Lost In
the Fifties Tonight" strumming the F chord once when I hit the line, and maybe
a quasi arpi strum after that. Quasi Arpi is the musical term for strumming a
chord slowly with the pick giving it a harp-like effect.

Mabey its just me, but I think for Bb instead of x12221 it should be (sounds better): x13331. And for Gm7b5 instead of xx2212 it should be xx3323. At least playing solo on a 12string anyway.

The C chord at the end of the verses is a C+. played x32110. That is also the opening chord for Beatles Oh Darling, only it's an E+ for the key of A.
