Capo 2nd Fret

Intro: (D) (Dsus) (D) (Dsus)

(D) Afternoon low (Dsus) tide - (D) workin' my (Dsus) plan
Got (D) one hand in the water - the other in the sand
Two (Am) beers in a cooler - (G) one warm heart in (D) place
Got a picture in a (Dsus) bottle - one (D) nailed up to a (Dsus) palm tree
(D) One out in the wind - and they all look like me
I want (Am) somebody to be - the (G) feeling's all over my (A7) face

Oh, I've (D) never been more ready than I (F#m) am right now
I know (G) sooner or later - someway somehow
Some(Em)body's gonna walk up and (A7) join somebody sittin' right (D) here (C)
  So wher(G)ever, who(D/F#)ever you (Em) are (A7)
  The coast is (D) clear

I (D) close my (Dsus) eyes and the (D) sound of the (Dsus) waves
(D) Carries me forward - to better days
And they (Am) open my eyes to the (G) woman of my dreams strol(D)ling in
With a small touch of (Dsus) shyness - and a (D) smooth kind of (Dsus) style
She (D) kisses me on the cheek and she says with a smile
I've been (Am) waiting all my life for (G) you baby - where have you (A7) been

Oh, I've (D) never been more ready than I (F#m) am right now
I know (G) sooner or later - someway somehow
Some(Em)body's gonna walk up and (A7) join somebody sittin' right (D) here (C)
  So wher(G)ever, who(D/F#)ever you (Em) are (A7)
  The coast is (D) clear

  So wher(G)ever, who(D/F#)ever you (Em) are (A7)
  The coast is (D) clear

(D) Afternoon low tide - I'm just workin' on my plan
(D/F#) Right (Em) now
Right (A7) here
The coast is (D) clear

(D) (Dsus) (D) (Dmaj7)

heres how i play those chords

D/F# 300232 (play a D with thumb holding top string on 3rd fret)

A7 003030 (play an A with middle finger off G string)

i play an f#m by moving a Bm up a string (hard to exlain, but i cant remember exact fingering) its not a bar chord

if you play D/F# - 3xx232 - it's a D/G

A7 = 003030 ???????????

even better then the first one. sounds great!!!!!!!

good job, but I'd change each of your "C" chords to "Am". I hear a sixth note in the verses so try playing it with a D6 instead of D. . .gives it a laid back feeling. The last chord of the song sounds like a Dmaj7:
(with capo on second fret)
