           G D Em
I took her daddy's old two-horse trailer,

I patched a place in the floor that was bare,
       G D Em A7
And we loaded up her barrel pony, and riggin'

bag is all that I had, Left with our suitcases
G C D
filled with desire, four-hundred dollars, two

good spare tires.

Chorus
         G D Em
Now our windshield's a painting that hangs in
     C G D Em
our room, changes with each mile like a radio
 C D G C
tune, we got up above, we'll make it on love,

Toby and Chris LeDoux wrote a great song. This could have been a hit for either one of those guys. They both recorded it. I like LeDoux's version better, but that's because I'm biased. Toby did a great job with it.
