Toby Keith – You Caught Me At A Bad Time
C#m B F#m7 E
E
I don’t need this conversation
F#m7
Cause I don’t need to see you cry
B
You need one more confirmation
E
Like I need one more reason why.
A B
I know this might no be the answer
E
Oh that you came here to get
F#m7
We both know that girl is somethin’
B
That I’m still not over yet.
Chorus:
A B
I can’t go on using you
G#m C#m
Girl in feels like I’m losin’ you
F#m7 B
A love like yours is hard to find
F#m7 B
But you caught me at a bad time.
C#m B F#m7 E
E
I knew that you’d be waiting
F#m7
The night I made that desperate call
B
You weren’t everything I needed
E
Just the softest place to fall.
A B
So I’m not gonna lie to you
E
Just keep stringin’ you along
F#m7
Thought by now it’d be better
B
But I guess I’m not that strong.
Chorus2:
A B
I can’t go on using you
G#m C#m
Oh it feels like I’m losin’ you
F#m7 B
Love like yours is hard to find
F#m7 B
But you caught me at a bad time.
F#m7 B
A love like yours is hard to find
F#m7 B
You Caught Me At A Bad Time.

-twizzle05 | 5/18/2005 | the chords are good the dern song just sounds like my life -rakeshay | 8/23/2005 | I b/v the chord at the end of the chorus should be an E instead of a B. Everything else sounds fine to me. -treybutler17 | 11/17/2005 | The key is correct, but I think he uses a capo on the 2nd fret. The chords then become D, Em7, A, D, G, D, Em7, A for the verse - and G, A, F#m, Bm, Em7, A, G, D for the chorus. Then back to the intro and do it all again. Just my two cents. -tudscamp | 3/21/2009 |
