hey palamino great tab. i think however that the capo is supposed to go on the third fret. I believe that is how it was played in his video from his performance at the opry. thanks again man and it is an awesome job that you do to help out people like myself that don't know how to tab a song out -knflyfisher | 3/21/2004 | These chords are correct with the recording, He may have had his guitar tuned a half step lower than standard tuning:)
you gotta remember they never play it the s ame live as they do in the studio, When artist perform live a lot of them tune down from standard tuning.. -palamin0 | 3/26/2004 | i think this tab is correct, but he plays it on the 4th fret in the video. -zxxpress | 3/31/2004 | Anyone tabbed out the intro to this song? -tyates | 5/25/2004 | very good job...very close...but try this...
on the verses, instead of going to a B major chord (A witht the capo....second chord of the verse), go to an G# minor chord (this would be the shape of a F# minor chord, but moved up to frets because of the capo). This is the same with the A chord you have written in the pre-chorus ("I asked him if he only painted ocean scenes...")...it should be the F# minor chord shape there too....good job! -pikopiko | 6/20/2004 | hey great tabs!! what are the Bsus, F#, D#m, C# chord structures?? if you could tell me that would be great, thnx -volsnptown12 | 8/5/2004 | Sounds Great Ken :-) -EMRLDEYZS | 9/12/2004 |
