Walking Shoes
By Wade Bowen & West 84

Capo 3

            D G D
If you keep walking in circles, you’re gonna fall through the floor
         D A D
And this old hardwood can’t stand much more
  D G D
I can’t make you stay, and I won’t make you go
              D A D
Are those the same walking shoes you’ve worn before

Chorus:
        G D A D
Ok your walking shoes, they’re looking pretty worn
    G D A D
But don’t worry darlin, I’ll buy you some more
      G D A D
I can see your toes and there’s a hole in your sole
        G A D
Oh your walking shoes, they’re looking worn

I remember the day that you brought ‘em home
You pranced around like a kid when you put ‘em on
And to this day I can’t count the times
I’ve seen you and those walkin’ shoes sayin’ goodbye

Chorus

I won’t be the hero, I won’t be the goat
I won’t tell you yes, and darlin’ I won’t tell you no
I’ll just sit here on the front porch, and drink my lemonade
Waitin’ for you to make up your mind again

Chorus

In the Live @ Blue Light Version It really sounds like it was played with the capo on the 4th fret
-RyanWelch | 11/29/2004
I saw wade play this song in acoustic, and he played it w/ capo on 4th fret, going G, D, A, D
-jbstud11 | 12/15/2004
That's all fine and dandy but the RECORDED key is capo 3. Please
realize that artists change once they are on the road.

You guys have no respect for a legend...
-SMERSH4346 | 1/25/2005
I doubt that we don't have respect, Smersh - if I had the mp3 of
Brandon doing it, I would tab it that way as well.

-cbrizzle | 6/17/2005
Hey brizzle, do you know how to read?
Be a little smarter before you add your
opinion when you have no idea what's going
on.
-SMERSH4346 | 7/3/2005
the capo is on the 3rd fret and doesn't move... ever:) and it is all G-D-A-D all the way through...
