Can't You See--Waylon Jennings
written by Toy Caldwell
From the album "Are You Ready For the Country"

Credit where credit is due...
Larry's tab is, as usual, dead on. However, I don't like using capos above the
fourth or fifth fret, and it's difficult for me to play his chords with a capo
on the ninth. Therefore, using his tab as a blueprint of sorts, I came up
with this one. It doesn't sound exact (the recording IS capo'd at 9) but I
think it gives the song a more earthly feel. Definitely works if you just
want to entertain yourself, some evening, singing all those old Waylon classics.

(NOTE: I've added in a couple different chords...minor changes...they aren't
necessary, I just like using them.)

INTRO: B A E B (4x)

B A
Gonna catch a freight train, far as I can Lord
E B7
I don't care which way it goes
B A
Gonna climb a mountain, the highest mountain Lord
E B7
Gonna jump off and ain't nobody gonna know

          B Asus2
Can't you see, can't you see
          E B
What that woman she been doin to me
           B Asus2
Can't you see, can't you see
            E B

Sounds pretty good. I don't have my capo with me, so I used this version to learn the song. I play it with barred chords, up on the neck so you sorta get that higher sound like the recording. Good tab.
