Bob Dylan tune. http://bobdylan.com/songs/risingsun.html http://ingeb.org/songs/thereisa.html -sandie | 4/24/2005 | i think the animals wrote that tune -bluesman479 | 7/30/2005 | No way, man. Bob Dylan wrote the song. I don't understand why anybody thinks that the Animals wrote it. They just covered it. In fact, Bob Dylan wrote it as "the ruin of many poor girl", in the first verse. but everybody who covers it says boy. He never did many covers anyhow, so it would be more logical to say that he did write it, 'cause he did. -macg1 | 11/9/2005 | Actually look it up, Dylan did not write the song, the artist is unknown for sure. This song has been around for longer than even Dylan. -chopsmwh | 6/25/2008 |
