These scales are derived from the blues scales, only were the blues
scales has only 7 notes from A to A, these scales have 8. These are the
scales most commonly used in Modern Country Music. Here are five
fingering positions in the key of A, the notes in brackets are the
root notes. To change the key of a scale, all you need to do is move
the root note to the note you want to play your scale in. For
example, to change to an Ab, move your scale back one fret, your new
root note is now Ab, and the scale is now the Ab scale
