Whe most people start learning scales, and how to improvise,
useing the pinky, and getting it to do what you want it to do
can be very challenging. Here is a technique to help get your
pinky working on the fretboard. It is hard to play some of
the faster picking if you don't use your pinky to play.
I will number your fingers on your left hand ( or right hand
if you are left handed ).
1 = Index Finger ( Pointer finger )
2 = Middle finger
3 = Ring finger
4 = Pinky finger
To play this scale, which is a chromatic scale pattern, make
sure you use the fingers nimbered on each note that corresponds
with the numbering above.

This scale is also good for getting from one end of the fret
board to the other without stopping your flow.
